The Catering Insight Awards 2018, in association with Atosa, has picked up another new sponsor in the form of The Professional Kitchen Show, one of the brands of the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Show (formerly both Hotelympia and the Great Hospitality Show).

This year’s awards will be held on Thursday 29 November at London’s glitzy Bloomsbury Ballroom and should once again attract over 200 senior catering equipment executives, both from distributors and suppliers.

The Professional Kitchen Show has signed up to back the Light Equipment Supplier Innovation category, with Sam Gunn, marketing manager of the event’s organiser, Fresh Montgomery, commenting: “It’s a great way for us to get out into the sector, strengthen ties with our existing contacts, and also position the Professional Kitchen Show as the one stop shop to find, test and purchase the latest products and innovations that will drive efficiency and profitability in the professional kitchen.

“Also the Professional Kitchen Show is constantly thriving to push the industry forward, and by sponsoring the Light Equipment category we have the opportunity to celebrate innovative manufacturers, whilst also keeping one eye on the big industry developments.”

Of the Catering Insight Awards themselves, Gunn added: “Catering is an integral part of the wider hospitality industry, but despite this on the whole we don’t have too many chances to actually come together as a sector and experience that hospitality! The Catering Insight Awards is a great opportunity to celebrate those who are truly redefining standard, and of course let our hair down together as an industry.

“We’re excited to see the new venue this year, looking forward to what’s always a lovely meal, and keen to learn who the winners are. Most of all I’d say we are looking forward to getting the industry together under one roof for what’s always a fun evening, and meeting some sensational new people!”
